Claim Procedure

TopCover Claim Notification Form should be submitted to us in the following circumstances:

  • ·

    As soon as possible, in the event of a Critical Illness diagnosis
  • ·

    As soon as possible, following an accident that may lead to Personal Accident claim
  • ·

    If the Insured Person has been unable to carry out their Occupation for 60 days or more, or
  • ·

    As soon as possible if it is likely (or the Insured Person thinks there is a possibility) that a Disability may last for more than 180 days, or
  • ·

    At any time that the Insured Person wishes to notify a potential claim.
  • ·

    The Insurer will not accept liability for any claim, which is not notified in writing to the Insurer within one (1) year of the calendar date of the event giving rise to the claim.

TopCover Claim Form should be submitted together with the information/documents listed in the TopCover Document Checklist, within 90 days from the commencement date of Disability or Accident.  Please note that the required documents may vary per claim and we may require additional information that is deemed to be necessary.
